Preliminary Task Plan

For my preliminary I will be creating an inspirational and motivating video that represents my team house (Kirk). As my house is known for not winning often but having good team spirit, I had the idea of having members (including staff) of my house act as if they have just won a race but then wake up to it all being a dream. The message behind it being, it's the taking part and team spirit that counts, not winning.

The experience I have gained as a media student from the past year will, hopefully, come into good use so I can use a wide variety of shots and edit my video to a good standard. I have just under three weeks to create the video.

African Activities Day

As it is the end of term, my school organised  two African themed activity days which consisted of dancing, making masks, cooking, drumming, learning about Fairtrade and African music. As media students we were asked to produce both a video and a newsletter reporting the days event in just two days. We met the deadline and this was the video we created:
